How To Book:
Don’t worry, I’ll keep it nice & simple for you:
Step 1: Go to the website RIGHT HERE
Step 2: Click “Book now”
Step 3: Pick your date, time, and how many people you are going with
Step 4: Enter your credit card (cost me $180 per person with 5 people)
$$it’s quite the pretty penny so make sure ya card doesn’t get declined $$
Heads up: it’s cheaper on a weekday and they book up fast no matter what time you want to go
Arriving/ Experience:
You have to be there 30 minutes before the boat leaves. PSA to all my Long Island people- the docking location is in Jersey City and it takes over an hour to get there. Closer to 2 if you go during rush hour like I did. You pull into the Marina and the boat is right on the dock . There are some signs that say “Sea The City” or someone will direct you. The Marina I parked in was a $7 parking fee (not if you’re me…the guy let me go for free because I was “nice” aka I said something friendly with a big smile on my face but we can’t all be that lucky)
You can fill out a waiver on their website or they let you do it right then and there. I didn’t read the fine print- sorry but basically if you fall off the boat it’s your own fault and you can’t sue them.
You can BYOB – Wine, Beer, Seltzers, Champagne (just no liquor) They take the alcohol your brought and put it in coolers for you that are accessible right from the hot tub. They also have secure bins for your bags and clothes and clips next to the hotter for your towels.
The Crew is awesome, they come around and take pictures for you, tell you the best spots for group shots, take the empty cans away, provide cups to you if needed, get you anything you need from the bin so you don’t have to get up. Honestly they probably don’t want you to get up because it’s slippery and they don’t want anyone getting injured Lol.
The boat had a changing room and a bathroom if needed. I didn’t use either, I didn’t leave the hot tub the entire time.
It’s rain or shine so hope for the best. Apparently it’s still fun even in the rain but I can not attest to that…
Overall, it was pretty expensive but the experience was fun and the views are unbelievable! I’d totally do it again and again if I wasn’t poor.
